Dal masala for cooking various dal dishes such as dal fry, sambhar, dal tadka, dal khichdi, and more.

Ingredients: Coriander, Red Chilli, Salt, Mustard, Turmeric, Cumin, Onion flakes, Tamarind, Dry Ginger, Garlic flakes, Cloves, Nutmeg, Curry leaves, Asafoetida. (Some spices may be in whole and/or in powder form)

Preparation Instructions:

Boil 200g Chana Dal in 800 ml. water till tender. Fry 80g chopped onions in 40g cooking oil till golden.
Add 100g chopped tomatoes and 15g Arhar Dalmasal. Stir for 4-5 min. till it becomes a paste. Take One part of boiled Dal and add to it. Mix well. Then transfer it to the remaining boiled Dal. Check to season. Simmer for five minutes. Dress with chopped coriander leaves & serve with Rice or Roti
