Mughal Style Meat Pilaf.

Steps of cooking:

1. Take 1 kg meat with bones, cut into small portions(Chicken/Beef/Lamb), 1-2 tbsp garlic paste, 1-2 tbsp ginger paste, and 1 packet of Shan Pilau Biryani. Add to water (Beef, Lamb 2 cups / Chicken: 1 cup). Cover and cook on low heat until meat is tender(about 1 cup of stock should remain in the pot).
2. Stir in 1 cup (200g) of plain, whipped yogurt and keep aside.
3. Separately: Wash 3&1/2 cups (750g) of Basmati Rice and let it soak. Boil 15 cups (3 liters) of water and stir in 2 tbsp salt and soaked rice. Boil the rice until 3/4 cooked. Remove and drain thoroughly.
4. Spread half the rice in a pot and pour the meat curry over it. Top with the remaining rice. Sprinkle 3/4 tps yellow food color if desired.
5. Heat 1 cup (175ml) of cooking oil and fry 1 (75g) small, finely sliced onion until golden. Pour evenly over the rice. Cover and cook on low heat until the rice is tender (5-10 min). Mix before serving.
