Original name: Basbasi bulgur – Extra Extra Coarse Bulgur

Bulgur is a type of wheat groats, most often durum wheat, made from cooked and then dried grains, often used in Turkish and Middle Eastern cuisine. It can successfully replace couscous or rice.

Bulgur Başbaşı is a special type of bulgur produced exclusively by Duru Bulgur. It is obtained by peeling the husk without breaking the wheat and is extremely tasty. Duru Bulgur is the only bulgur produced in a “natural” stone mill and for this reason is one of the richest bulgurs in terms of fiber and minerals.
