Indian neem (Azadirachta indica), also known as neem (Hindi) or nimba (Sansk.)

According to legend, the creation of neem is due to a drop of amrita (nectar of immortality) that fell to the ground. Due to its bitter taste, this herb is recommended for the treatment of inflammation of the skin and digestive system.

Neem is effective against inflammatory skin diseases caused by rakta and pitta disorders. Relieves burning, infections, eczema, skin peeling, bleeding, symptoms of acne, hives, ringworm and scabies. In the form of oil, it effectively treats bacterial and fungal infections (especially thanks to the high content of azadirachtin) and also acts as a mosquito repellent. Relieves the unpleasant smell of sweat.

Digestive system: Soothes intestinal inflammation and digestive ulcers, neutralizes excess stomach acid, supports the treatment of Crohn’s disease, restores the balance of pitta and kapha. It cleanses the mucous membranes of the system and prevents bleeding in the gastrointestinal system. It has an antiparasitic effect.
