Panch Puren is a mixture of granular spices, otherwise known as the Five Flavors spice.
In order to extract the appropriate aroma, it should be fried in oil or clarified butter (Ghee) before use.
The mixture is used for vegetables, meat dishes and lentil dishes.
Ingredients:
fenugreek, fennel, cumin, mustard seeds, onion seeds (black cumin).
