Basmati – a unique product, due to its snow-white, delicate, slender grains and distinct aroma, called the “prince of rice”. Grown in India and Pakistan at the foot of the Himalayas. Ideal in everyday cooking and for oriental dishes – pilaf, fish, poultry, meat.

Preparation method: Before cooking, rinse the rice with cold water until the drained water becomes clear.

Pour cold water over the rice (1 cup of rice per 2 cups of water), add salt and other spices. Bring to a boil and cook covered for 10-12 minutes on low heat until the rice absorbs the water.

Remove from heat for 5 minutes without opening the lid.
