Description

Tender Chicken in white onion and yogurt sauce.

Ingredients Required:
1. Chicken – 1 kg, small portions
2. Onions – 4 medium/ 400g, finely diced
3. Garlic Paste – 1 tbsp
4. Ginger Paste- 2 tbsp
5. Green Chillies – 2-4 tbsp, ground
6. Lemon Juice – 4 tbsp
7. Plain Yoghurt -1 cup/ 200g, whipped
8. Oil/ Ghee – 1/2- 1 cup/ 180 ml
9. Shan Chicken White Korma Mic- 1 Packet

Steps of cooking:
1. Mix together green chili paste, garlic paste, ginger paste, and Shan Chicken White Korma Mix. Apply to the chicken and set aside for 30-45 minutes.
2. Heat oil and fry onions until light brown. Remove onions from the oil and grind with yogurt. Keep aside.
3. In the same oil, add marinated chicken and stir fry for 4-5 minutes.
4. Add onion and yogurt mixture. Cook for 15 minutes or until oil separates from gravy. (For thinner gravy add half one cup of milk).
Add lemon juice and remove from heat. Garnish with a few blanched and peeled almonds.
Serve hot with naans and roti.

Tips for the best results: Wash the chicken with 2 tbsp white vinegar in half cup of water before use.
